I enjoy the challenge of creating unique pieces that the clients believe reflect their personality.
I make a wide variety of jewellery items for both men and women. This includes the usual rings, bangles and brooches to less common items such as cuffs, belt buckles, barrettes (for the hair), and key rings.
Wedding rings can offer unique challenges where a common design concept can be developed in 2 different directions to produce individual pieces for each party.
As my best works come from my heart, I don’t as a rule agree a fixed detailed design in advance but instead a broad design concept.
Time is taken to understand the client's personality and to discuss requirements and possibilities.
After taking time to absorb this I will come up with a design concept that I believe will deliver to the client’s expectations.
Depending on the uniqueness or complexity of the design, I may produce a prototype or review the work at key stages of the development process. The ring shown here was a prototype for one made in 3 different colours of gold.
Examples of my work can be seen in my gallery in St Clair and on this web site. further examples can be provided on request.
